Software

As server producers we closely collaborate with software suppliers. All servers may be purchased without software, after which the customer may choose which software to install on them, or else apply its own agreements with the software suppliers.

 

Besides this, we can provide servers with Microsoft licences, with the choice of OEM licences or Embedded licences.

 

OEM licences; these are official licences, for instance from Windows Server 2008. These licences are regularly replaced by a more current Windows Server 2011 version. This is not always convenient because we still have customers who have an older version for the sake of compatibility, drivers, the direction of special cards, or for instance the support of the application software. ECOserver is therefore also an Embedded partner of Microsoft. In this program the older Microsoft versions such as Windows 98, Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003 are still available.
