EGS, 2U 19 inch storage server high-end

ECOserver model EGS is designed for reliable IP Camera support and reliable bulk storage. ECOserver model EGS features redundant power supply and hot swappable drives to the front and can utilise one or two XEON processors. This server alsor has 12 bays for 3.5 inch drives to support up to 36 TB gross data storage, and in conjunction with a RAID card comprises a highly reliable storage solution. ECOserver model EGS is ideal for virtualization software like VMware, XEN or Hyper-V or as a Windows Server to host, for example, multiple security cameras for major projects. Besides the 12 drives there is room for 2 x 2.5-inch drives (including Solid State Disks) for the installation of secure Operating Systems and a slimline DVD for uploading new software, camera images stored on DVD capture or other extraneous data.

 

ECOserver model EGS uses energy-efficient Xeon processors from Intel. This combined with energy efficient components make this server one of the most economical in it's class.
