EEB/EEP, 2U Embedded server

A jack-of-all-trades, is what the EEB model is; a small, compact housing, incorporating numerous possibilities regarding assembly, starting voltage, capacity and power. Developed from the demand of customers in search of a small compact server with the power of a regular server.

This type of server is especially used in the retail market, where it can be installed in the meter cupboard or underneath a counter. The power supply is therefore installed within and it is connected via an added net cable with a lock, to prevent it from accidentally becoming detached. In terms of processors we may place a very competitively priced ATOM processor, up to a powerful Core i7, the latter for which even powerful applications will not pose a problem. For building into a 19-inch stack, we have a Rackmount Kit available.

Energy saving measures
This server was developed mainly from the viewpoint of housing and functionality as well as for its energy consumption. The ventilator is a low energy type of 80 mm, with the possibility to place a second ventilator, if necessary. A DVD is also absent, it is mostly used incidentally, after which it unnecessarily consumes energy. In case an ATOM solution and Solid State Disk are opted for, consumption will amount to approximately 20 Watts.
Physical designs
Supplied in the colour black without ECOserver logo. Other colours and imprints upon request.

Expansions
The EEB model has the possibility to place one additional I/O card. This may be a PCI or PCI Express card, depending on the motherboard. Especially for connecting PoE devices the EEB model is equipped with a 4-port PoE card with a capacity of 15,4 Watts per port. This model is called the EEP model.
